When you create an account, we collect your email address and an optional display name. As you use Lunavigate, we store your study data — including courses, assignment deadlines, study schedules, time logs, and preferences — so the app can function properly.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the Lunavigate study scheduling service
• To generate personalized study schedules based on your deadlines and preferences
• To send you push notifications about upcoming study blocks (if you opt in)
• To process payments for premium subscriptions

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a hosted PostgreSQL database platform. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Our database is hosted in the US (us-east-1 region).

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Lunavigate:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting
• Anthropic (Claude AI) — AI-powered study tips and suggestions
• Vercel — application hosting

Cookies

We use cookies only for authentication purposes (keeping you logged in). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or use the "Reset All Data" feature in Settings, your study data is permanently deleted from our servers.

Your Rights

• You can view all your data within the app at any time
• You can delete all your study data using the "Reset All Data" button in Settings
• You can delete your account by contacting us
• You can opt out of push notifications at any time in Settings

Children's Privacy

Lunavigate is designed for high school and college students. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not create an account. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the app.
